【摘要】:Thispracticedoesnotnecessarilyprovidedirectsimulationofnaturalweatheringexposure.Resultsfromuseofthispracticeshallnotberepresentedasbeingequivalenttothoseofanynaturalweatheringtestuntilasatisfactorydegreeofcorrelationhasbeenestablishedforthematerialinquestion.VariationsinresultsarepossiblewhentheoperatingconditionsvarywithintheacceptedlimitsfortheinstrumentspecifiedinPracticesG151andG152.1.1Thispracticedescribesoneenvironmentfortheexposureofpressure-sensitivetapestoalaboratoryacceleratedweatheringenvironment.1.2Thispracticedescribessamplepreparationandthelaboratory-acceleratedweatheringenvironmenttowhichitshallbeexposed.Itdoesnotspecifythelengthoftimeoftheexposurenorwhattestsshallbeperformedonthematerialfollowingtheexposure.Note18212;PracticeD6551describesxenon-arcexposuresoftapes.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlywithoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
