【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesdescriptivestatisticsofthehearingthresholdforpopulationsofvariousages.Itspecifiesthefollowing,fortherangeofaudiometricfrequenciesfrom125Hzto8000Hzandforpopulationsofotologicallynormalpersonsofagivenagewithintheagelimitsof18yearsto70yearsinclusive:a)theexpectedmedianvalueofhearingthresholdsgivenrelativetothemedianhearingthresholdattheageof18years;b)theexpectedstatisticaldistributionaboveandbelowthemedianvalue.Thedataareapplicableforestimatingtheamountofhearinglosscausedbyaspecificagentinapopulation.Suchacomparisonisvalidifthepopulationunderstudyconsistsofpersonswhoareotologicallynormalexceptfortheeffectofthespecificagent.NoiseexposureisanexampleofaspecificagentandforthisapplicationselecteddatafromthisInternationalStandardarereferredtoas"DataBaseA"inISO1999.Thedatamayalsobeusedtoassessanindividual'shearinginrelationtothedistributionofhearingthresholdswhichisnormalfortheperson'sagegroup.However,itisnotpossibletodetermineforanindividualpreciselywhichpartofanobservedhearinglossisattributabletoanaccumulationofdetrimentaleffectsonthehearingwhichincreasewithage,andwhichparthasbeencausedbyotherfactorssuchasnoise.Thehearingthresholddeviationasdefinedhereinandthehearingthresholdlevelasdefinedinotherstandards(ISO389-1,ISO8253-1,ISO8253-2,IEC60645-1)expressthehearingthresholdofanindividualoranindividualearrelativeto,respectively,a)themedianhearingthresholdofapopulationof18-year-oldpersons,orb)areferencezerolevelspecifiedinvariouspartsofISO389.Totheextentthatthereferencezerolevelrepresentsthemedianofthe18-year-oldpopulation,thevaluesofthetwotermswillbethesame.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesdescriptivestatisticsofthehearingthresholdforpopulationsofvariousages.Itspecifiesthefollowing,fortherangeofaudiometricfrequenciesfrom125Hzto8000Hzandforpopulationsofotologicallynormalpersonsofagivenagewithintheagelimitsof18yearsto70yearsinclusive:a)theexpectedmedianvalueofhearingthresholdsgivenrelativetothemedianhearingthresholdattheageof18years;b)theexpectedstatisticaldistributionaboveandbelowthemedianvalue.Thedataareapplicableforestimatingtheamountofhearinglosscausedbyaspecificagentinapopulation.Suchacomparisonisvalidifthepopulationunderstudyconsistsofpersonswhoareotologicallynormalexceptfortheeffectofthespecificagent.NoiseexposureisanexampleofaspecificagentandforthisapplicationselecteddatafromthisInternationalStandardarereferredtoas"DataBaseA"inISO1999.Thedatamayalsobeusedtoassessanindividual'shearinginrelationtothedistributionofhearingthresholdswhichisnormalfortheperson'sagegroup.However,itisnotpossibletodetermineforanindividualpreciselywhichpartofanobservedhearinglossisattributabletoanaccumulationofdetrimentaleffectsonthehearingwhichincreasewithage,andwhichparthasbeencausedbyotherfactorssuchasnoise.Thehearingthresholddeviationasdefinedhereinandthehearingthresholdlevelasdefinedinotherstandards(ISO389-1,ISO8253-1,ISO8253-2,IEC60645-1)expressthehearingthresholdofanindividualoranindividualearrelativeto,respectively,a)themedianhearingthresholdofapopulationof18-year-oldpersons,orb)areferencezerolevelspecifiedinvariouspartsofISO389.Totheextentthatthereferencezerolevelrepresentsthemedianofthe18-year-oldpopulation,thevaluesofthetwotermswillbethesame.
