【摘要】:ThispartofISO8216establishesageneralsystemofclassificationwhichappliestopetroleumfuelsdesignatedbytheprefixletter"F".WithinclassF,fivefamilies(designatedascategories)ofproductsaredefinedaccordingtothetypeoffuelandlistedindecreasingorderofvolatility.Onecategory,D,isdefinedfurtherbysubgroupsonthebasisofvolatilityandflashpoint,becauseofthesafetyimplicationsofdifferentcustomarytitlesforsuchfuelsindifferentpartsoftheworld.SubgroupL(lightdistillate)isahighlyvolatileliquidfuelwithaclosed-cupflashpointbelownormalambienttemperature,andthusmayrequirespecialhazardprecautionsnotnecessaryforsubgroupsMandH.Thedetailedclassificationofafamily,takingintoaccountcomplementaryelementsaccordingtotheuses,typeandproperties,defineparticularproductsineachcategory,andaregiveninrelevantpartsofISO8216astheneedarises.NOTE1PetroleumfuelsonlymeettherequirementofthispartofISO8216ifthesefuels,ortheircomponents,havenotbeenusedforanyotherpurposespriortotheirpreparation.NOTE2ClassFforfuelshasbeendefinedaspartofthemethodofclassificationforpetroleumproductsgiveninISO8681.
